Counselling provides a time and space for you to explore what is troubling you, safely and in confidence.
It may be about a specific problem, some difficult feelings, it may be about mood, behaviour, or a relationship with a partner, a family member, a boss or a colleague.
People find counselling can be useful in a range of problems and situations such as:
It may be difficult to put your problem into words - you may be feeling overwhelmed, or just very unhappy or stuck, without knowing why. Exploring your thoughts and feelings, at your own pace and with a trained counsellor, without fear of being judged, will help you to find out what is troubling you. You can then determine a way forward.
We will meet in a calm and confidential setting at an agreed time each week, for 50 minutes.
Everyone is different, so we may work together for a few weeks or for a number of months. This is something we will discuss at the first session, and can be reviewed at any time.
Each weekly session will cost £40. Payment by cash or cheque.
There are a few concessionary spaces available (£32 and £25), including for counsellors in training. Contact me about any of these.
