I was introduced to homeopathy at a short Homeopathic First Aid course while living in Worcestershire. I was intrigued by this approach to health and the little box of everyday medicines which could help manage a cold, soothe a headache, resolve indigestion, using a different medicine depending on the particular experience of the particular person. I later undertook the 4 year part time training at the Midlands College of Practical Homeopathy, graduating in 1996 (LCPH) and went on to establish a busy homeopathic practice in Evesham, Pershore and Worcester where I worked for 6 years.
In 2002 a move to Somerset led me to undertake additional training, in counselling. I completed a Higher Diploma in Counselling Practice at Bridgwater College 2011. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I work according to their code of ethics. This includes having regular supervision with an experienced colleague to ensure that my work with clients is of a professional standard.
I provide counselling for adult clients over the age of 18. In my homeopathic work patients range from pre-birth and pregnancy to old age.
My personal approach to counselling is built on the Integrative model which allows me to tailor my approach to the needs of the client. I am happy to talk further about my approach if you feel it would be helpful to you.
